Introducing Head Coach

Kerry Stair

 

    The Wheaton-West Hockey Club is proud to announce that Coach Kerry Stair is now our Head Varsity Coach.

  Coach Stair is an avid hockey player and seasoned coach. He has played and coached hockey at many levels.  He skated for Wheaton College and is still an active participant and organizer in several men’s leagues.  He has previously coached for 5 years with the Flames.  In addition to coaching High School hockey for the Wheaton West Hockey club he is also head coach for Wheaton College and coaches at the Bantam level for the Center Ice Admirals.

  Coach Stair believes, “Hockey is not only about competing hard to win; it’s about developing character and good sportsmanship.  Hockey is a team sport. Every player has a role to fill and a responsibility to the rest of the team.”

  Coach Stair lives in Wheaton, where he is married and has 4 children. He runs a computer repair business which also repairs pinball and video games.
